Wrong Plan Wrong Place protest banner and signs

Linton on Ouse action group contacted the team at Screenprint and Display when they needed to get protest boards and banners printed quickly. They had heard there was an upcoming home office visit to the village and they wanted to raise awareness for their cause.

“The UK Government has recently announced that Linton on Ouse will house an open door Asylum Reception Centre.” https://www.lintonaction.co.uk/. The small village of approx. 700 residents would increase dramatically as the “new centre will hold a minimum of 1500 single adult males”. The action group wanted to get their voices heard and when the press were invited to the parish council meeting that was to be attended by the home office, the group needed protest boards and banners printing quickly.

With a tight deadline, the action group sent over the artwork and protest messages to the team at Screenprint and Display. A selection of Correx boards and banners were printed and produced ready to display.

Correx boards are versatile (and waterproof) and can be displayed on fences, walls etc or fastened to handles to be used as placards in a demonstration.

The result was the villagers were able to attend the meeting with placards, boards and banners and the protest was well covered in the media, getting the message seen. For further information please look at the website https://www.lintonaction.co.uk/
