Waterproof Poster Printing

Waterproof posters can be printed directly onto either PVC or Polypropylene.

These water resistant posters are great for use outdoors and also ideal for use in damp and humid environments, anywhere that posters are exposed to moisture. They are tough and weather resistant.

Posters can be cut to any size and they can be custom shaped if required. Standard poster sizes are A2, A1 or A0.

What are the standard waterproof poster sizes?

The sizes we are asked to print most commonly are A2, A1 or A0 posters, however you can have any size you like as they are cut to size once printed.

Can the printed waterproof posters be shape cut?

Yes they don’t have to be rectangular, you can have almost any shape cut out (we would need to see your artwork to confirm this).

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No you can have any number of water resistant posters printed but it is more cost effective when printing in larger volumes.

Can the outdoor posters be recycled?

If you use polypropylene for your posters this is 100% recyclable through waste stream 5.

Are the posters easily torn?

No the posters are printed on a tear resistant material.

Can the waterproof posters be printed on different thicknesses of material?

Yes there are several thicknesses of material that the outdoor posters can be printed on, these include 220 micron, 280 micron and 400 micron.

How can the outdoor posters be displayed?

There are several ways in which to display outdoor posters, this includes suckers, hooks and clip frames. For further information please advise our team where you are wanting to display the posters and they will be able to advise the most suitable solution.

Can the posters be rolled up to post out to retail outlets?

We would send the posters out flat packed, however they can easily to be rolled up to post out in tubes to different destinations.

Is it possible to print several designs in one order?

Yes we can print any number of designs in one order, we would just need to know the split for each design.

Can we have the waterproof posters printed double sided?

Screenprint and display can print either single or double sided waterproof posters. As standard we would assume the posters are single sided, so please advise our team when requesting a quote if double sided is required. The artwork can be different on each side.

As the posters are for outdoor use will they be lightfast or will they fade?

Both Polypropylene and PVC can be screenprinted with UV resistant inks meaning the posters are suitable for outdoor use.
