Foamex is a brand name and it is often referred to as PVC Board, Foamalite, forex and foam PVC.
Foamex is an exterior grade PVC, available in a variety of thicknesses from 1mm to 10mm, and ideal for both internal or external signage and graphics. 3mm Foamex is the most commonly used thickness.
Our large format print department handle sheets of up to 3050mm x 1550mm, which can be printed in one pass. Larger graphics can be made out of a run of panels mounted to create one large graphic.
Depending on the quantity and size of the signs you require, we can either screenprint or digitally print your artwork and designs directly onto the Foamex.

Volume orders can reduce the unit price of printed Foamex boards but we have no quantity restrictions.
Foamex can be heat formed to create 3D signs, structures and displays.

Large format panels and hoarding boards are printed on Foamex as it’s rigid and light. Panels can be produced up to 3550mm x 1550mm, for the larger site hoardings these would be printed on a series of smaller panels.
All Foamex boards and signs can be printed in full colour, up to any size (like the hoarding panels), there are often cost savings when printing large volumes of the same design in limited number of colours.
The signs can be printed either single or double sided to suit your design. Please consider how you will be attaching the boards to posts etc.., if they are to be printed double sided, so your image is still visible.
Yes they can be custom cut to suit your design requirements. If a large design is required, more than 1 board can be cut so that several boards can be joined together to create a large shaped graphic
As standard the boards are supplied without predrilled holes, however this option can be requested when ordering. The holes make it easy for the boards to be screwed to fences or walls to display.
Boards can easily be delivered from our factory in North Yorkshire to anywhere in the UK. Depending on the size of your printed signs and the quantity as to how these would be dispatched. Smaller boards, such as A4 would go with the courier on a 24 hour service, whilst large boards may need to be transported on pallets.

There are various thicknesses available but most sign boards are produced on either 3mm or 6mm. Our standard is 3mm, please advise if the thicker option is requested.
