As we head into summer and the holiday season, many Brits will be packing up the cars and heading overseas. Here are a few questions about the UK identifier stickers, that you may need to know; What stickers do you need to display? Are GB stickers still valid? What do I do about the old GB sticker? And where can I buy a UK sticker?
“A Department for Transport spokesperson said: “Changing the national identifier from GB to UK symbolises our unity as a nation and is part of a wider move towards using the UK signifier across government.”

“If your number plate includes the UK identifier with the union flag (also known as the Union Jack), you do not need a UK sticker”

Please refer to the gov.uk website for current updates and further info.
The identifier stickers should be displayed on the rear of a vehicle.
There are many outlets throughout the UK for these stickers if you only require one, however if you are looking for large volumes of these, please contact the team at Screenprint and Display.
We’ve been printing GB stickers (now UK stickers) for years, for a whole host of industries including ferry companies, camping sites and holiday companies.
The old GB stickers need to be removed from the vehicle or covered up as they are no longer valid. They need to be replaced by the new UK identifiers.
Please always check the government website for the latest information, guidelines and legislation on identification requirements.
