At Screenprint and Display, we custom print and cut all our posters, so they are actually available in any dimension to suit your requirements. If you want something other than a standard poster size, please get in touch with our team.
All the standard A sizes are frequently used for poster printing. Choosing what poster size, you require depends on where they are to be displayed.
It is also important to consider if the posters will be displayed indoors or outdoors. Posters can be printed on a variety of materials, from paper to polypropylene.
The overall size of a poster may be affected by where it will be displayed. Timetable and information posters, notices, health and safety, and security posters etc. are likely to be viewed at a closer distance and therefore the graphics may not need to be as large as those viewed long distance e.g. film posters, outdoor event advertising, circus posters, forthcoming event posters etc. Poster dimensions vary massively depending on their intended use.
The space available for displaying the posters will also affect the size, will it be displayed in a standard poster size frame? Or is there an allocated wall space?
