How to Apply Window Stickers Without Bubbles

Step 1: Clean the Surface

Start with a clean, dry window. Any dirt or dust on the surface can cause bubbles to form under the sticker. Use a glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth to ensure a thorough clean.

Step 2: Prepare the Sticker

Peel off the backing paper from the sticker, but be careful not to touch the adhesive side. Our fingers carry oils that can interfere with the adhesive, potentially leading to bubbles.

Step 3: Apply the Sticker

Place the sticker onto the window, starting from one edge and carefully pressing it onto the surface as you go. This technique helps reduce the chance of trapping air underneath.

Step 4: Smooth it Out

After the sticker is on the window, use a squeegee or a credit card to smooth out the sticker and remove any bubbles. Start from the center and move towards the edges. If a bubble forms, you can gently lift the sticker, release the trapped air, and smooth it back down.

Step 5: Review Your Work

Inspect the sticker from both sides of the window. If you see any bubbles, repeat step 4.
